ADMINISTRATION

Dr. Declan O'Connor

Principal

As a twenty-five year educator in the Springfield Public Schools and an Ivy League doctoral graduate, I recognized both the daily challenges students face as well as the opportunities that await them. Like many Springfield students, I came from humble beginnings and it was dedicated teachers who boosted my confidence and shaped my identity as a lifelong learner. Because of this I am committed to providing students with inspired teaching, by a culturally diverse teaching staff, that will foster our students' continued confidence and growth as learners. In this way I can provide all students with the necessary balance of support and high expectations that will position students for long term academic success.

ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL

ANDREA COOLEY-STROM

I believe that each student we teach, each child’s life that we reach is unique and will be valued. All students have the ability and opportunity to learn. I believe that learning becomes more valuable when the person can relate to what it is they are learning, can be part of their own learning and have the support from everyone around them in their lives (family, teachers, administrators). If students believe they can, they will continue to persevere through anything. I believe we are in this together no one person is better than the other and together we can change the world!

Assistant Principal

Tonika Feliciano

As a product of Holyoke and Springfield schools, I understand how crucial my school and teachers were to my life and how much they molded me into the person I am today. I want to create an environment that is welcoming of all identities and allow students to feel confident and empowered. I believe that it takes a village to raise a child and I pride myself on being the safety net for all students as they venture out into the world and take risks to figure out what makes them special.
